Domestic Air Conditioning Installation

The systems we fit are heat pumps. They cool a room in August and heat it through winter, usually for less than leaving electric radiators on. We fit single bedroom units through to whole-house multi-splits, and we size each one with a heat-loss calculation so you're not paying for cooling you don't need.

We're F-Gas certified, which you need in the UK to handle refrigerant. There's a manufacturer warranty, typically five to seven years when we register the system, plus our twelve-month workmanship guarantee.

We survey every site (floor area, glazing, occupancy, equipment heat) before we recommend anything. We've fitted and looked after systems for hair salons, estate agents, offices, restaurants, cafés and care homes across Torbay and South Devon. On larger jobs we often bring in extra F-Gas certified hands we've worked with for years, and we stay on site until it's finished.

Every commercial installation is F-Gas compliant and comes with the commissioning documents and refrigerant certificates your insurer and health & safety file will ask for. You get a written specification and quotation before work starts. We can work around opening hours.

Servicing

An air conditioning system loses efficiency as filters clog and refrigerant pressures drift. Most manufacturers want an annual service to keep the warranty valid. Regular servicing is usually cheaper than the extra electricity and the breakdown in August. We service systems we've installed and ones other people fitted, in homes and businesses.

Every visit follows the same checklist: filter and coil cleaning, drainage, electrical connections, refrigerant pressures and controller diagnostics. You get a written report of what was checked and anything we found. Because we're F-Gas certified, we can legally handle refrigerant if a top-up or leak check is needed.

Consultancy

Sometimes you need to know whether air conditioning is the right job at all, which system suits the building, or how to fix an install someone else fitted.
